Tout est paysage. La maison du paysage serait l’endroit où le paysage serait chez lui, préservé.
La maison du paysage se voit concerver le paysage et en réparer les déficits tout en le préservant de futures dangers.
Le projet compose donc avec l’urbanisme déficitaire d’Amougies. Il offre une place public à Amougies et propose un jardin public au coeur du village. Ce jardin représente l’origine des sols, l’histoire du Lieu, son essence : Un marais. Un mur protège et délimite ce marais.
L’implantation des bâtiments se fait de manière à corriger l’urbanisme du village en tenant les espaces publics. L’édifice principal accueille des fonctions culturelles destinées au public. Il repose sur l’enceinte du marais, comme un bloc massif en bois qui cadre l’espace entre lui-même et l’église.
All is landscape. The House of Landscape would be the place where it is at “home”, preserved.
The House of Landscape is conserving nature and reappearing the lack of the village, preserving it from future problems.
The project is composed with the urbanism deficit of Amougies. It offer a public place to Amougies and proposes a public garden in the center of the village. This garden shows the original state of the ground, the history of the place, in essence-a swamp. A wall mark that limit the swamp and also protects it.
The implantation of the new building is done by correcting the urbanism of the village and for drawing and limiting the spaces. The main building holds cultural functions. It stands on the enclosure of the swamp, like a massive wooden volume that frames the space between it and the church.
